Membership & Duration
An initial membership runs for 90 days (3 months) from the date it becomes active.
You may renew to continue receiving matches and accessing your dashboard. See the Refund Policy for what happens if no matches are made during your initial 90-day membership.

Classic — a self-directed membership. Concierge — a premium membership that includes additional, direct, hands-on guidance from our matchmaking team.

Matching Process
Members sign up online, create a profile, and complete matching preferences (and optionally a compatibility quiz). Responses are processed through our proprietary algorithm, which identifies compatible matches during your membership term.
You'll be notified by email whenever a match is made.
You can view your match's profile picture and profile card in your member dashboard while your membership is active.
No. Contact information is only released if both members express mutual interest and both agree to share it — or you may communicate through the Bahama Match portal.
Photo & Identity
A clear, front-facing headshot with your full face visible, good lighting, no other people or animals, taken within the last two years, not AI-generated, and in modest dress. Full-body, distant, or heavily filtered photos are not accepted.
All members must upload an official government ID (driver's license or passport) to help verify identity and support the integrity of the matching process.
Safety & Responsibility
No. We verify identity through a government-issued ID, but we do not conduct criminal background checks, marital status verification, or other investigative screening. You are responsible for exercising your own caution and judgment.
If you want this information, it is your responsibility — not Bahama Match's — to independently obtain a background check, verify marital status, or gather any other information before communicating with, meeting, or entering a relationship with a match.
Guarantees
No. Membership provides access to our matching platform and process, but does not guarantee that you will be matched during your term.

Refund Policy
If a match is made during your membership, no refund will be issued. If no matches are made by the end of your initial 90-day membership, you will be offered a one-time, one-month complimentary membership. No other refunds are available to members.
