Our membership-based process begins with creating a personalized profile that reflects your preferences and values. As an active member, you may be matched with compatible individuals throughout your membership term, communicate at your own pace, and decide how you'd like a connection to unfold.
Membership does not guarantee that you will be matched, and being matched is not a guarantee of a relationship, engagement, or marriage. All outcomes depend on the individuals involved.

Create Your Match Profile
Share your key details, preferences, and relationship goals — including name, gender, age, relationship goals, preferences, and a profile photo.
Select Your Preferences
Choose your matching preferences. These are used by our proprietary algorithm, alongside your profile information, to identify compatible matches.
Complete the Compatibility Quiz (Optional)
Members may optionally complete a compatibility quiz to further refine their matching experience.
Get Matched
When a match is made, you'll be notified by email. While your membership is active, you can view your match's profile picture and profile card in your dashboard.
Express Interest
For each match, click “Interested” or “Pass.” If interest is mutual, both members choose whether to communicate through the Bahama Match portal or release contact information.
Identity Verification
All members upload an official government ID (driver's license or passport) to verify their identity as part of membership.

All members must comply with these standards.
Clear front-facing headshot
Your full face clearly visible, looking at the camera.
Good lighting
No sunglasses or hats covering your face.
Only you
No other people, animals, or group shots.
Recent & real
No more than two years old, not AI-generated — a true, current representation of you.
No heavy filters
No full-body, distant, or heavily filtered photos.
Modest dress
Present yourself respectfully and modestly.

Classic
A self-directed membership giving you full access to profile creation, matching, and communication tools.
Concierge
A premium membership with additional, direct, hands-on guidance from our matchmaking team throughout your term.

Your Responsibility When Meeting a Match
Bahama Match verifies member identity through a government-issued ID at signup, but we do not conduct criminal background checks, marital status verification, or other investigative screening. You are solely responsible for exercising caution and good judgment whenever you communicate with, meet, or pursue a relationship with a match. If you want information such as a background check or marital-status verification, it is your responsibility to obtain it through your own independent means.
No Guarantee of a Match or Outcome
Membership provides access to our matching platform and process; it does not guarantee that you will receive a match during your membership term. If you are matched, that match is not a guarantee of a relationship, engagement, or marriage — real-world outcomes depend entirely on the individuals involved.
