Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: April 6, 2026 | Last Updated: April 1, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before registering for, accessing, or attending the Bahama Match conference (“Event”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Bahama Match website at www.bahamamatc.com (“Website”), all digital registration and profile services, matching-related communications, and in-person Event participation.

By accessing the Website, creating a profile, submitting registration information, making a payment, or attending the Event in any capacity, you (“Participant” or “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms apply whether you participate online, in person, or both. If you do not agree, do not register or attend.

1. About Bahama Match

Bahama Match is a live, in-person mate-matching conference held in Nassau, The Bahamas. It is a structured, purpose-built weekend event designed to help single adults who are intentional about marriage identify compatible partners through a curated matching process, guided activities, psychoeducational sessions, and shared in-person experiences.

Bahama Match is NOT a dating application, dating website, subscription service, or ongoing matchmaking platform. The Website serves as an online registration and profile portal. The primary service delivered by Bahama Match is access to the in-person conference Event. Bahama Match may also include post-event follow-up communications where offered.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • the Bahama Match Website and any related online portal or digital platform;
  • all event registrations, profile submissions, and payments;
  • participant profiles, photographs, questionnaire responses, and submitted content;
  • the proprietary matching algorithm and related matching communications;
  • in-person conference attendance and participant conduct; and
  • any related services, features, promotions, or follow-up activities offered by Bahama Match.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to register for and participate in the Bahama Match conference, you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, at the time of registration;
  • have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • be legally single unmarried and not in a legally recognized domestic partnership — at the time of registration and throughout the Event;
  • self-identify as heterosexual, as Bahama Match is designed as a heterosexual mate-matching experience;
  • register only in your own name and not on behalf of another person;
  • be willing and able to travel to Nassau, The Bahamas and to attend the Event in its entirety, from the opening session through the closing session; and
  • provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information in your profile and matching questionnaire, and agree to promptly update any material changes.

Bahama Match welcomes participants from The Bahamas and from all parts of the world. Bahama Match reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate access or participation if any eligibility requirement is not met or if information provided is inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent with these Terms.

4. Registration Process

Registration for Bahama Match proceeds in the following stages:

Step 1 — Profile and Questionnaire Submission

Interested individuals complete an online profile and a series of matching questions on the Website. Submission of a profile does not constitute confirmed registration, does not guarantee a spot at the Event, and does not create a contractual obligation on the part of Bahama Match. You understand that Bahama Match may rely on the information you provide in administering registrations, facilitating matching-related services, and communicating with participants.

Step 2 — Algorithm Matching

Submitted profiles are processed through Bahama Match’s proprietary matching algorithm. A Participant will only be invited to proceed to payment if the algorithm identifies at least two (2) compatible potential matches for that Participant within the current registration pool. Receipt of a match notification is not a guarantee of any particular romantic or personal outcome at the Event.

Step 3 — Payment and Confirmation

Upon receipt of a match notification, eligible Participants will be invited to pay the conference registration fee of Three Hundred United States Dollars (USD $300.00) to secure their spot. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received and processed in full. The registration fee covers access to the Event program only and does not include airfare, hotel accommodations, meals (unless expressly specified in Event materials), local transportation, or any other personal expenses.

Bahama Match reserves the right to reject or cancel incomplete or unpaid registrations. Participants are responsible for any applicable taxes, bank fees, currency conversion charges, transfer fees, or payment processor charges associated with their registration.

5. Conference Dates, Venue, and Scheduling

The projected dates for the inaugural Bahama Match conference are May 29–31, 2026. Participant acknowledges and agrees that:

  • final conference dates, times, venue details, program schedule, and related logistics will be determined and confirmed by the Bahama Match program administrator at the administrator’s sole discretion, after registration thresholds and planning conditions are met;
  • projected or estimated dates communicated on the Website or in any marketing materials are estimates only and are subject to change;
  • the venue location in Nassau, The Bahamas will be selected and announced after the full registration pool is finalized; and
  • Bahama Match may modify, postpone, reschedule, substitute, relocate, or cancel event dates, times, venues, activities, or related program elements where reasonably necessary for event quality, safety, feasibility, participant balance, or operational efficiency.

Bahama Match will make reasonable efforts to communicate material updates in a timely manner using the contact information provided by the Participant. Bahama Match is not responsible for any costs incurred by Participants — including travel, accommodation, or other arrangements — made in advance of any rescheduling announcement.

6. No Guarantee of a Match or Romantic Outcome

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Bahama Match does not guarantee, represent, or warrant that any Participant will receive a match, experience mutual interest, form a romantic relationship, become engaged, married, or otherwise enter into a long-term partnership as a result of participating in the Event or using the Website.

The matching algorithm generates potential compatibility suggestions based solely on information voluntarily self-reported by Participants. These suggestions are not a prediction of romantic success, emotional compatibility, or long-term relationship viability. Actual outcomes depend entirely on real-world interpersonal chemistry, individual decisions, and dynamics that Bahama Match cannot predict or control.

Any promotional language describing hoped-for outcomes, improved opportunities, or enhanced connection experiences is aspirational in nature and does not create a promise, warranty, or guarantee of any specific personal or relationship result.

Participants specifically acknowledge that:

  • the conference is designed to facilitate meaningful introductions and structured connection opportunities — not to guarantee a specific relational outcome;
  • Bahama Match makes no warranty, express or implied, that participation will result in a match, relationship, engagement, or marriage;
  • emotional, psychological, or relational outcomes experienced before, during, or after the Event are the sole responsibility of the Participant; and
  • Bahama Match is not liable for any emotional distress, disappointment, or harm arising from the failure to identify a compatible partner at the Event.

7. Accuracy of Information and Removal

Participants represent and warrant that all information provided during registration, in their profile, and in the matching questionnaire is truthful, accurate, current, and complete. Misrepresentation of any material fact including but not limited to age, marital status, identity, or questionnaire responses is grounds for immediate removal from the Event without refund and may result in further legal action.

Bahama Match reserves the right, in its sole but reasonable discretion, to deny registration, suspend an account, remove a Participant from the Event, or terminate access to the Website or service at any time, without refund where appropriate, where Bahama Match determines that doing so is necessary for safety, legal compliance, operational integrity, participant welfare, or enforcement of these Terms.

8. Fees, Refunds, and Cancellation

All prices, fees, and payment requirements will be stated at the point of registration. Unless otherwise stated, all payments must be made in the approved form of payment designated by Bahama Match. Registration fees are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • If the Event is cancelled entirely by Bahama Match (for example, due to insufficient registrations or force majeure), registered Participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee paid. This refund shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy available to Participants in the event of cancellation.
  • If the Event is rescheduled and the Participant provides written notice of cancellation within [X] days of being notified of the new dates, a [full/partial] refund may be issued at Bahama Match’s discretion, subject to any published refund policy.

No refund shall be due because a Participant is dissatisfied with matching results, interpersonal outcomes, or the conference experience. If a Participant voluntarily withdraws after payment, or is removed for a violation of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, no refund will be issued. Bahama Match is not responsible for any third-party charges, bank fees, or currency conversion fees associated with payment processing.

9. International Participants and Travel Responsibility

Bahama Match welcomes participants from The Bahamas and from other countries. Each Participant is solely responsible for:

  • obtaining and maintaining a valid passport and any required visas, permits, or travel authorizations for entry into The Bahamas;
  • arranging flights, lodging, local transportation, and travel insurance;
  • ensuring compliance with immigration, customs, health, and entry requirements of The Bahamas and any transit or home jurisdiction; and
  • monitoring travel advisories, health requirements, and any entry restrictions in effect at the time of travel.

Bahama Match strongly recommends that all Participants obtain adequate travel and health insurance and consult with a healthcare provider regarding any health considerations related to international travel. Bahama Match is not responsible for losses, expenses, delays, missed travel connections, denied entry, denied boarding, lodging costs, illness, injury, theft, or other travel-related consequences.

10. Participant Conduct and Code of Conduct

All Participants are required to treat fellow Participants, staff, and venue personnel with dignity and respect at all times, both online and at the in-person Event. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • harassment, intimidation, coercion, stalking, threats, or unwanted physical contact of any kind;
  • discriminatory, hateful, sexually aggressive, or inappropriate conduct based on race, nationality, religion, age, or any other characteristic;
  • use of false identities or impersonation of another person;
  • submission of misleading, obscene, unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content;
  • unauthorized recording, photography, or filming of other Participants without their express consent;
  • solicitation of money, gifts, investments, or other financial support from Participants in an improper or deceptive manner;
  • disruption of Event programming, ignoring staff directions, or violation of venue rules; and
  • use of the Bahama Match service for any unlawful, exploitative, commercial, or unauthorized purpose.

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the Event without refund. Bahama Match reserves the right to involve local law enforcement where the situation warrants.

11. Safety and Personal Responsibility

Bahama Match seeks to create a respectful and structured environment, but Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, judgment, and personal safety at all times. Bahama Match does not guarantee the character, identity, intentions, honesty, compatibility, background, health status, relationship history, marital status, or conduct of any Participant.

Any interaction with another Participant — whether online, during the Event, after the Event, on-site, off-site, or off-platform — is at your own risk. Participants are encouraged to use sound judgment in all interactions, especially before sharing personal information, meeting privately, traveling with another Participant, or making financial commitments of any kind.

Bahama Match does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, relationship counseling, or legal advice through these Terms or through ordinary Event participation, unless expressly stated as a separate offered service. In the event of an emergency, local emergency services (911 in The Bahamas) should be contacted immediately.

12. Online Platform Rules

If Bahama Match offers online profiles, messaging, forms, or other digital features, you agree to use them only for their intended purpose. You may not:

  • copy, scrape, harvest, or extract participant data;
  • upload malicious code, spam, or unauthorized advertising;
  • interfere with system security or Website functionality;
  • reproduce or distribute Bahama Match materials without written permission; or
  • use the platform in any way that could harm Bahama Match, its participants, or third parties.

Bahama Match reserves the right to monitor, restrict, remove, or preserve content or communications as reasonably necessary for service administration, legal compliance, safety, investigation of complaints, or protection of the platform.

13. Submitted Content and Profile Materials

You are responsible for any photographs, profile content, statements, preferences, or other materials you submit to Bahama Match. By submitting content, you represent that:

  • you own it or have the right to submit it;
  • it does not violate any law or third-party rights; and
  • it is not false, misleading, abusive, obscene, or otherwise improper.

You grant Bahama Match a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate the service, administer registrations, facilitate Event participation, and support related promotional or internal business purposes, subject to Bahama Match’s Privacy Policy.

14. Privacy and Data Use

By registering on the Website, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information as described in the Bahama Match Privacy Policy, available at www.bahamamatc.com. Key data practices include:

  • Profile information and questionnaire responses are used to operate the matching algorithm and facilitate Event programming.
  • Photos submitted will be revealed to confirmed matched Participants only after the registration pool is finalized.
  • Personal contact information will not be shared with other Participants prior to or during the Event without your consent.
  • Bahama Match will not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Information may be used to administer registrations, communicate with participants, manage event logistics, improve services, comply with legal obligations, and send service-related updates and, where permitted, promotional communications.

Because Bahama Match involves participants from different jurisdictions and may use third-party service providers, your information may be processed, stored, or transferred across borders, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Participants who are citizens or residents of the European Union acknowledge the transfer of personal data to The Bahamas, which may have different data protection standards. Participants from the United States acknowledge that applicable state or federal privacy laws may govern certain aspects of data handling.

Bahama Match will retain personal data for a period of [X] after the Event, after which it will be securely deleted, unless Participants consent to continued retention.

15. Marketing Communications

By registering or providing your contact details, you agree that Bahama Match may send you service-related notices and Event-related communications. Where permitted by law, Bahama Match may also send promotional messages, which you may opt out of in accordance with applicable law and the communication instructions provided.

16. Photography, Media, and Intellectual Property

Bahama Match events may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for operational, security, archival, promotional, or marketing purposes. By attending the Event, you acknowledge that your image, voice, likeness, or appearance may be captured incidentally or intentionally in photographs, video, or related media. Unless otherwise prohibited by law or specifically agreed in writing, you grant Bahama Match permission to use such materials for business, promotional, editorial, and marketing activities without additional compensation.

If Bahama Match offers a media opt-out process, any such opt-out applies only as expressly stated and does not extend to crowd scenes, incidental capture, security recording, or materials already produced.

Participants agree not to record, photograph, or film other Participants without their express consent. All Bahama Match branding, logos, names, content, design elements, text, graphics, event materials, the proprietary matching algorithm, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Bahama Match and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, display, or commercially exploit any Bahama Match material without prior written permission.

17. Third-Party Providers, Venue, and Accessibility

Bahama Match may use third-party venues, caterers, hotels, transportation providers, photographers, technology vendors, and other service providers. Bahama Match is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, food preparation practices, scheduling failures, or service quality of such third parties, except as required by law.

Participants are responsible for informing Bahama Match, by any stated deadline, of any significant accessibility needs or dietary restrictions. Bahama Match will make reasonable efforts to communicate such needs to relevant providers but cannot guarantee that all requests can be accommodated.

18. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bahama Match provides its Website, platform, registration services, and Event experience on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Bahama Match disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any express or implied warranties regarding:

  • uninterrupted access to the Website or platform;
  • suitability, compatibility, or mutual attraction between any participants;
  • accuracy of participant-provided information;
  • emotional satisfaction or relationship success;
  • uninterrupted Event programming; and
  • third-party service quality.

No statement by Bahama Match, whether verbal, written, promotional, or otherwise, shall be interpreted as creating a guarantee of personal compatibility, successful pairing, or relationship formation.

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BAHAMA MATCH AND ITS OWNERS, ADMINISTRATORS, ORGANIZERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, VENUES, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF TRAVEL EXPENSES, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR INTERPERSONAL DISAPPOINTMENT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO:

  • technical errors in the Website or matching algorithm;
  • interactions between or conduct of Participants; or
  • third-party acts or services.

In no event shall Bahama Match’s total aggregate liability to any Participant exceed the amount of the registration fee paid by that Participant (USD $300.00). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

20. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bahama Match and its owners, administrators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and representatives from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your misconduct or unlawful conduct;
  • false or misleading information you provide;
  • your interactions with another Participant;
  • your violation of any rights of a third party; or
  • content you submit or distribute through the service.

21. Force Majeure

Bahama Match shall not be liable for delay, postponement, modification, interruption, or cancellation of the Event caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather events, hurricanes, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, public health concerns, travel disruptions, labor disputes, venue issues, government actions, utility failures, civil unrest, transportation interruptions, or supplier failures.

In such circumstances, Bahama Match may take such action as it reasonably considers appropriate, including rescheduling, relocation, modification of the Event, issuance of credit, or cancellation.

22. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, or the Event, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Nassau, The Bahamas, under rules mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

Participants waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Bahama Match.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent that any dispute is not subject to arbitration, Participant consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nassau, The Bahamas.

Participants accessing the Website or registering from outside The Bahamas are responsible for compliance with their local laws and regulations to the extent they are applicable.

Bahama Match reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date and will become effective upon posting, unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Website, submission of registration materials, or participation in the Event after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Participants are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

26. Entire Agreement
